Second man arrested in hockey club secret video case

A second man has been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into secret films made in the girls’changing rooms at Wassenaar hockey club HGC.

The man, from The Hague, was arrested at the same time as Luigi C, the former youth trainer who used hidden cameras to film teenage girls at the club between 2006 and March this year.

In total, girls from 36 different clubs were recorded and 100 hours of material have been found. Most of the girls were over the age of 16 but some were as young as 12.

The second arrest was kept secret when news of C’s actions broke ‘in the interests of the investigation,’ police said.

Associate

The second man had dvds of the recordings at his home but has no connection to the hockey club. He was also in possession of child pornography and is a known associate of Luigi C.

Dvds of the girls were found at the home of a third suspect who has not yet been arrested. Police are trying to establish who else has the images but say they do not suspect they have been uploaded to the internet.

Hockey club HGC, where king Willem-Alexander’s three daughters play, held a meeting for concerned parents on Tuesday night.
