Huntelaar, Robben, Van der Vaart won’t make Oranje training camp
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Arjen Robben and Rafael van der Vaart will not take part in the training camp for the Dutch national team which starts on Monday, the football association has confirmed.
Huntelaar is ill, Robben has ankle trouble and Van der Vaart is recovering from a muscle injury. Nevertheless, their non-appearance does not mean they will not make the squad, broadcaster Nos said.
Oranje play a friendly against Italy on September 4 and their first European championships qualification match takes place against the Czech Republic on September 9.
