Delta Lloyd appoints new CEO

Hans van der Noordaa has been appointed the new CEO of Delta Lloyd, the insurance group announced on Tuesday.

The 53-year-old Van der Noordaa is currently the head of ING Retail Banking Benelux. He will replace current CEO Niek Hoek, who is retiring in June 2015 after 18 years at Delta Lloyd, the last 14 as CEO.

Van der Noordaa will take up his new post on January 1 2015. He will be replaced at ING Retail Banking Benelux by Koos Timmermans on October 1.
