Use of mobile internet soars
The number of people using mobile internet services has soared over the past year, according to figures from providers KPN, T-Mobile and Vodafone.
KPN reports an 80% increase in the number of people using internet on their mobile phone, laptop or tablet. Vodafone reports a rise of 85%, while T-Mobile says it has seen an increase of ‘128%’ in areas where its new 4G network is available.
The arrival of the 4G network accounts for much of the rise, according to KPN.
