Max Verstappen joins F1 team
Dutch racing driver Max Verstappen has joined the Red Bull junior team with immediate effect.
The 16-year-old, son of ex-Formula 1 driver Jos, has won seven F3 races in his debut season of car racing.
‘This is effective immediately and Max will continue his F3 campaign at the Nurburgring this weekend as a Red Bull junior,’ the Austrian company said in a statement.
He will make his F1 debut next season in the Australian Grand Prix on March 15.
