Code yellow warning for the whole of the Netherlands
The KNMI weather bureau on Friday issued a code yellow warning for the whole of the country, ahead of heavy thunderstorms later in the day.
Scattered thunderstorms will hit most of the country in the afternoon and evening, some of them bringing strong gusts of wind.
The weather is set to be changeable after the weekend, with more rain and daytime temperatures below the norm for the time of the year at 19 degrees Celsius.
