Code yellow weather warning in eastern areas
The KNMI weather bureau on Wednesday issued a code yellow warning for the whole of the eastern part of the Netherlands, ahead of severe downpours, thunder and possibly hail.
The heavy rain will arrive in the course of the afternoon when between 20 and 40 millimetres of water could fall.
On Thursday the weather will turn dry and warm with temperatures reaching a maximum 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, the Telegraaf says.
