Dutch camel farmer sees surge in demand for milk

The outbreak of the deadly MERS virus in the Middle East has boosted demand for Dutch-produced camel milk, the Telegraaf reports on Tuesday.

Camel farmer Frank Smits told the paper he had noticed a surge in orders from the Middle East since the outbreak began. Demand is up some 25%.

Smits claims his is the only camel farm in Europe.
