Unpaid bills are biggest threat to company profitability: survey

One-third of Dutch employers think unpaid bills form the biggest threat to their company’s profitability, according to a survey by credit insurance group Atradius.

This is higher than the western European average of almost 30%, the company said.

In total, 33% of Dutch company bosses said they think clients are too slow in paying their bills, compared with 38% in western Europe as a whole. Turkey, Spain, Britain and Italy complain the most about slow payers.
