‘Seedorf to be sacked as AC Milan coach’: Italian media

Former Dutch international Clarence Seedorf is to be sacked as coach by Italian club AC Milan, according to Italian media reports.

Seedorf, 38, who spent 10 years of his playing career at Milan, took over at the end of January after the previous coach was sacked for poor results.

Questions have been mounting about the Dutchman’s future in Italy since AC Milan’s embarrassing exit from the Champions League.

Seedorf had no formal coaching experience before taking the job but did manage to improve the club’s league results.

Gazzetta dello Sport says the club is prepared to pay Seedorf €10m to end his two year contract.
