Two bodies found in Brabant drugs lab, cause of death unknown

Police are investigating the death of two men in an office in Uden in Brabant which was being used as an illegal drugs laboratory.

The bodies were found in the office of a firm named as DAC Carcleaning located in a commercial property complex with several other companies.

The owner of a storage facility nearby told local broadcaster Omroep Brabant the door had to be drilled open when the owner could not get inside.

Gas mask

‘Then I found a dead person with a gas mask on leaning against the wall,’ Mark van Dijck is quoted as saying. The room had a pungent smell and there were several jerrycans, he said.

The broadcaster said police had confirmed the building was being used as a ‘medium-sized drugs lab’ and that the cause of death had not yet been established.

Some 10 people at other offices in the complex were evacuated as a precaution.
