Louis van Gaal to move to Manchester United: Telegraaf

Dutch coach Louis van Gaal is moving to Manchester United after agreeing terms with the English club, according to the Telegraaf.

The paper also says former international striker Patrick Kluivert will be installed as second-in-command. Kluivert is currently Van Gaal’s assistant at Oranje.

As soon as the Netherlands is knocked out of the World Cup this summer, Van Gaal will move over to England, the paper says.

According to Manchester United, no terms have been agreed. ‘There is nothing to report. We have not signed a new manager. When we have something to report, we will announce it,’ the Daily Mail quotes the club as saying.

The Telegraaf also says Van Gaal will have a €100m transfer budget and is looking primarily at targets in Germany. The deal was agreed at Van Gaal’s holiday home in Portugal’s Algarve, the paper states.
