Ajax 8 points clear, on its way to fourth league title in a row
Amsterdam football club Ajax is now eight points clear at the top of the Eredivisie, and well on the way to its fourth league title in a row.
On Saturday, Ajax beat Rotterdam’s Feyenoord 2-1 away. It was the Amsterdammers’ third victory over their arch rivals this season.
FC Twente and Vitesse of Arnhem are currently vying for second place on 49 points, followed by Feyenoord on 45 and PSV Eindhoven on 44.
