Hans de Boer to take over as new employers’ chief
Hans de Boer (59) is to take over the chairmanship of the biggest Dutch employers’ organisation VNO-NCW.
Current incumbent Bernard Wientjes, who is 70 and tops the lists of the most influential Dutch person, retires in July.
De Boer led the small business association MKB Nederland from 1998 to 2003 and was most recently chairman of the government’s task force on youth unemployment.
