Warner Bros ‘interested in buying’ Dutch tv group Eyeworks

American entertainment group Warner Bros is interested in buying Dutch production house Eyeworks, RTLZ said on Tuesday, quoting well-informed sources.

Former Dutch soap star Reinout Oerlemans is one of the founders of Eyeworks. The company produces shows such as Test the Nation and Celebrity Splash.

RTLZ says Warner Bros accountants are now looking at Eyeworks’ books, but Oerlemans declined to comment on the reports.

Theatre impresario Joop van den Ende owns 30% of the shares in Eyeworks and former ABN Amro banker Wilco Jiskoot is on the supervisory board.

Eyeworks booked net profit of almost €14m on turnover of over €250m in 2012.
