Telecom firm T-Mobile is cutting 75 jobs in the Netherlands by merging several departments in order to boost efficiency.

The company says changes in the communication landscape due to social media and apps mean fewer people are contacting its customer service department by phone.

T-Mobile currently employs 2,500 people in the Netherlands.
