Limit e-cigarette sales to teenagers aged 18 and over, say MPs
A clear majority of MPs want the introduction of an 18 age limit on sales of electronic cigarettes.
MPs from the two ruling parties have called on the cabinet to introduce an age limit on the sale of the e-cigarettes, now the public health body RIVM has said there are health risks attached to their use.
Manufacturers are already targeting youngsters and advertising around programmes with a young audience, MPs said.
The minimum age for buying tobacco products in the Netherlands is set to go up to 18 in January.
