Prime minister makes two-day trip to China

Prime minister Mark Rutte has had talks with Chinese premier Li Kequiang on the first of a two-day visit to China.

Rutte and aid minister Lilian Ploumen are leading a delegation of Dutch business people in an effort to strengthen political and economic ties with China.

It is five years since a Dutch prime minister visited China and Rutte has pledged to return next year with a much bigger trade delegation.
