German woman is mother of two abandoned babies
DNA tests have shown that a 25-year-old German woman is the mother of a baby boy abandoned in Roermond near the border with Germany in June.
The woman had claimed to be the mother of the boy and of a baby girl left on a roadside in Cologne in October 2011.
The woman will face criminal charges, news agency ANP said. Abandoning a baby is subject to up to 10 years in jail in Germany and four years in the Netherlands.
