Dutch dj Hardwell named best in the world, six Dutch djs in top 10

Yet another Dutch dj has been named best in the world by the readers of DJ Mag. Hardwell, from Breda, tops the magazine’s new list of the world’s best djs, easing fellow Dutchman Armin van Buuren from the number one slot.

Hardwell, real name Robbert van de Corput, is 25, making him the youngest dj to take the title. The announcement was made during the Amsterdam Dance Event which is taking place at venues all over the city this weekend.

Six of the top 10 djs are Dutch. After Armin van Buuren in second place come Tiësto (4), Nicky Romero (7), Afrojack (9) and Dash Berlin (10). Van Buuren took the title five times.
