Arnhem drops its fashion event Mode Biennale
Arnhem city council will no longer support the Mode Biennale fashion event after the last edition made a €160,000 loss, partly due to disappointing visitor numbers.
The event, which is well-regarded in international fashion circles, aimed to highlight Arnhem’s role as a breeding ground for fashion talent, news agency ANP said.
Officials and the event organisers are currently evaluating the event and looking at alternative promotional tools.
