Morning thunderstorm warning in the south and east
Weather forecasters on Wednesday morning issued a thunderstorm warning for southern and eastern parts of the country.
Thunder, lightning, hail and heavy rains are expected to move up the eastern side of the Netherlands during the morning. Temperatures are again expected to go above 30 Celsius inland, but it will be a little cooler on the coast.
The sun will break through in the afternoon in most places but more thunderstorms are likely overnight, the KNMI weather bureau said. The weather will turn cooler again on Thursday.
