Search for missing brothers resumes in woods in Limburg

Soldiers and police on Thursday resumed their search of woods in Limburg for two young brothers missing since Monday evening.

The boy’s father committed suicide in other woods near Utrecht on Monday morning. When the searchers failed to find a trace of the children in those woods, they turned their attention down south.

The boys, aged seven and nine, were last seen in a car with their father in Limburg on Monday evening. Their parents are divorced and the boys were spending some time with their father.

‘We are going to comb the woods centimeter by centimeter,’ a police spokesman is quoted as saying by Nos tv. According to media reports, police are searching the Bunderbos woodland following a tip-off.
