House sales down again in April
The number of houses sold in April fell by 20.4% compared with the same month in 2012, and by 26.6% compared with March.
The figures from the land registry office Kadaster show Utrecht had the biggest fall in house sales with a 34% drop compared to March. In Zeeland the drop was just 6.7%.
In April, the real estate association NVM said the number of homes changing hands fell 30% in the first quarter of 2013, making it the worst quarter for years.
