Dutch baseball team qualify for World Classic semi-finals
The Dutch baseball team has qualified for the semi-finals of the World Baseball Classic with a 7-6 win over Cuba.
The win came after Oranje was beaten 4-16 by Japan. But a previous win over Cuba in the group round means the Dutch squad is assured of a semi-final place.
The Netherlands and Cuba will meet again to determine who will go forward to the semis in San Francisco later this month as group leaders.
