PSV accepts three match suspension for Jeremain Lens

PSV Eindhoven has accepted the three-match suspension imposed on player Jeremain Lens by the Dutch football association for his attack on Feyenoord’s Joris Mathijsen after last Sunday’s match.

As well as the three-match suspension for grabbing Mathijsen’s shirt in the tunnels, Lens faces a further one match on the benches for his fifth yellow card this season.

PSV currently lead the premier division.

Lens will miss Wedneday’s cup tie against Zwolle plus league matches against VVV Venlo, Heerenveen and RKC.
