Three arrested for Kunsthal art theft in Romania, say local media

Romanian media report that three people have been picked up in connection with last year’s multi-million euro theft of paintings from Rotterdam’s Kunsthal museum.

The report has not yet been confirmed by Dutch police, Nos television said.

Seven paintings, including works by Picasso, Monet and Matisse, were stolen during the raid on the gallery in October last year.
