Schiphol airport processes record number of passengers
Tuesday 08 January 2013
Some 51 million passengers moved through Amsterdam's Schiphol airport last year, an increase of 2.6% on 2011, chief executive Jos Nijhuis said on Monday evening.
However, freight volumes fell 3% to 1.5 million tonnes, Nijhuis said. The number of aircraft movements (take-offs and landings) rose 0.8% to 423,000.
The aircraft authority forecasts a slight increase again this year.
Ten years ago, Schiphol passed the 40 million passenger mark.

Does the report say what percentage of those passengers were tortured by NS?
By phantom | 8 January 2013 9:02 AM@phanthom: I doubt it - why should the report on schiphol mention the NS? most of the passenger might have been "tortured" by ground transportation elsewhere as most are (i guess) transit passengers.
