Dutch farm produce exports reach new record

Wednesday 16 January 2013

The export of Dutch farm products reached almost €80bn last year, a new record, agriculture sector organisation LTO Nederland said on Wednesday.

In 2011, the export of Dutch fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy produce reached almost €73bn.

Germany is the Netherlands’ biggest food export market, accounting for just over 26% of farm exports.

And it is often cheaper to buy Dutch produce in Germany than it is here....seems to be the way this country is going

Cheaper rental, labour and tax in germany and thus we are able to get the same stuff cheaper there. Germany also has made great improvement in their distribution network.

We are still being ripped off as far as the 'price' goes..try to save & spend elsewhere & be patriotic to family & friends, not your enemies ;)
