Wet and windy New Year’s Eve ahead

This year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations will be overcast, wet and windy, according to Dutch weather bureaux.

The temperature at midnight will remain around 7 Celsius, the KNMI weather bureau said.

New Year’s Day will be drier and around 8 Celcius with some sunny spells. This means the forecast is good for the dozens of traditional January 1 swims which take place around the country.

you could be forgiven for thinking 50 shades of grey was the entire dutch weather report for 2012, what a terrible year its been for the weather.. and it looks like its not going to relent for 2013 either. I've forgotten what the sun looks like.
