Cooperative bank Rabobank has bought the Gelredome stadium - home of Arnhem football club Vitesse.

The stadium was owned by property group Eurocommerce which went bankrupt this summer owing the banks nearly €700m.

Financial details of the privately-arranged sale were not disclosed.

Vitesse is currently joint second in the premier league.
