Police break up Schiphol airport drug smuggling ring

At least 20 people have been arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport as part of a six-month investigation into a drug smuggling ring.

A number of the people arrested work in the baggage handling department, Nos television said. Some 70 kilos of cocaine, guns and a large quantity of cash were also seized during the operation.
