A man set himself on fire in front of the Kennemer Gasthuis hospital in Haarlem on Friday, according to local television station RTV Noord-Holland.

The broadcaster said the man is of 'Greek origin' and police said it was a 'suicide attempt'.

The man is currently being treated in the hospital's emergency ward. No word about his condition has been released.
