DSM, Macintosh and Schiphol win best financial report awards

Specialty chemicals group DSM has won this year’s Henri Sijthoff award for the best financial report by a Dutch blue-chip company.

The report ‘makes serious work of operating responsibly and is transparent about what went wrong in 2011’, the jury report said.
The Macintosh Retail Group won the award for best Midkap stock. The jury praised the way the company’s ‘strategic reorientation’ was outlined and said the company is one of the few to explain new British anti-corruption legislation.
The Schiphol airport group won the award for best non-listed company.
Oil giant Shell picked up the prize for the best financial website.
The Henri Sijthoff prizes are awarded every year by the Financieele Dagblad.
