Triple suicide in Utrecht flat
Wednesday 10 October 2012
Police have found the bodies of twin brothers and a woman in a student flat in Utrecht in what they say is a triple suicide.
Details are still sketchy but according to news agency ANP, the three are former Utrecht University students and had remained in the flat which had been adapted to cope with the brothers' handicaps.
According to the Telegraaf, the brothers were 33 and highly intelligent but suffering from a muscle-wasting disease. They had degrees in mathmatics and had been allowed to stay at the flat because they could not find work.
ANP says the woman was both carer and had a relationship with the young men.
