A second person was arrested on Monday evening in Winschoten, following a series of fires in empty buildings in the town.

The 25-year-old woman knows Danny F, who was arrested at the weekend, but their relationship is not yet known, say press reports. ‘It is clear that they know each other,’ a Groningen police spokesman told RTL news.
RTL quotes one source show says she may be his former girlfriend and that their landlord tipped off the police.
Danny F is under suspicion after making calls to the emergency services and tweeting about the fires. He was caught trying to start a fire in a club house in the nearby village of Blijham.
At least 18 cases of arson have been carried out in Winschoten in the past few months.
