There is a good chance that tonight’s forecast rainfall will lead to sand from the Sahara covering western parts of the country, RTL news reports on Friday.


A cloud of Saharan sand is heading our way and will be brought down by the rain, RTL weatherman Reinier van den Berg says.
The fine grit is grey and red and the sand cloud may lead to hazy sunshine and brownish tints on the horizon on Friday afternoon, Van den Berg said.
