Ronaldo hat-trick helps Real defeat Ajax 4-1
A hat-trick from Real Madrid’s star striker Cristiano Ronaldo helped give the Spanish side a 4-1 victory over Amsterdam club Ajax in their group D Champions League tie.
‘We never really reached levels we are capable of. They are all stars in that team, four world and European champions. I wanted to see our style, too, but tonight I’m afraid I didn’t,’ Dutch coach Frank de Boer told the Uefa website.
