Postage stamps increase in price

Postage stamps will increase in price from January 1 2013, PostNL announced on Tuesday to the delight of investors.
A stamp for post within the Netherlands goes up from 50 cents to 54 cents and within Europe from 85 cents to 90 cents. Business post will cost an average 5% more.
The price increase is necessary because the amount of post is still decreasing, PostNL said.

I very rarely mail anything, other than packages. I probably send only 2-3 letters a year now, as most things can be sent electronially.

By dee | 2 October 2012 3:57 PMYes i still use the mail service. Sometimes when my horse is too tired, and my wife is exhausted from wearing her corset all day, and my morse code machine is on the blink, I have to post the letters myself.
