Homes raided, woods searched in international drugs operation

Police have raided 20 locations in the south of the country and in Belgium in connection with an international drugs investigation, Nos television reports.

Some 200 police officers and the army were involved in the raids on homes and business premises in Eindhoven, Maastricht and Valkenswaard. Local woods were also searched.
Three men were arrested and face charges of money laundering and drugs smuggling.
The raids followed a tip-off from the German police. Two Dutch nationals were arrested in Denmark earlier this year as part of the same investigation, Nos said.
