Retail trade sees growth of 1%

Turnover in the retail trade increased 1% in June compared with the year-earlier period, the central statistics office CBS said on Monday.
Prices were 1.9% higher while volume dropped 0.9%.
The biggest rise in turnover was in mail-order firms and internet shops (8.3%). Electronics stores (7.4%), chemists (6.1%) and supermarkets (4.5%) all fared relatively well.
Do-it-yourself stores and shops selling furniture and other household items saw a fall in turnover of 6.8% and 4.5% respectively.
