Olympics: Bosch wins bronze in the judo

Judo fighter Edith Bosch won the bronze medal in the under 70 kilogram class on Wednesday evening.


She beat the South Korean Hwang Ye-sul.
Bosch was hoping to add the gold medal to her Olympic collection of silver and bronze.
Gold in the judo went to Lucie Decosse of France and silver to the German Kerstin Thiele, who beat Bosch in the semi-final.
Other news
Swimmer Sebastiaan Verschuren missed out on the bronze in the 100 metre freestyle by just 0.08 seconds.
The race was won by the American Nathan Adrian, Silver went to the Australian James Magnussen and bronze to the Canadian Brent Hayden.
The Netherlands is 17th in the medal table with one gold, one silver and one bronze.
