Fugro books profit of €115m

Geotechnical survey group Fugro on Friday announced a rise in profit of 14.9% to €115.4m in the first six months of 2012.

Turnover grew by 13.9% to €1.34bn.
‘Most of the oil and gas-related market segments have shown continuous growth which has led to an improved use of our whole fleet,’ the Leidschendam company said.
The growth in seismic data collection at sea led to ‘some’ price recovery in the second quarter of 2012, and the growth looks ‘robust’ for the second half of the year, Fugro says.
