Little change in new opinion poll, SP and VVD neck and neck

A slight rise in support for the VVD means the right-wing Liberals and Socialist Party are neck and neck in the latest Maurice de Hond opinion poll, published on Sunday.

De Hond says both the VVD and SP would win 31 seats if there was a general election tomorrow. His is the latest in a string of polls which indicate the general election will be a battle between the two parties on the left and right of the political spectrum.
De Hond puts the anti-Islam PVV and Labour both on 19 seats, with the Liberal democrats D66 on 15.
