Gold and silver for Dutch sprinters at European championships

Dutch sprinters Churandy Martina and Patrick van Luijk took gold and silver in the 200m at the European athletics championships in Helsinki on Saturday.
Martina completed the distance in 20.42 seconds, becoming the first Dutch national to take a European athletics title since Bram Som in the 800 metres six years ago.
The Netherlands last took a 200m title in 1938.
Later on Sunday the Dutch women's 4x100 relay team took the silver medal, setting a new Dutch record of 42.80 seconds. Germany took gold and Poland the bronze medal.
