Oranje beat Northern Ireland 6-0 in last Euro 2012 warm-up
Sunday 03 June 2012
The Netherlands wrapped up their pre-Euro 2012 warm-ups with a morale-boosting 6-0 win against Northern Ireland.
Robin Van Persie and Ibrahim Afellay both scored twice during the match at the Arena stadium in Amsterdam. Wesley Sneijder and Ron Vlaar picked up the others.
Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk said after the match: 'I'm satisfied with the execution of our tactical plan today but the score means little because they were very poor opponents.'
The Netherlands kicks off its European Cup campaign against Denmark on June 9, followed by Germany (June 13) and Portugal (June 17). Two years ago, Oranje reached the final of the World Cup in South Africa.

The game was no more than a warm up between men and boys but you can only beat the team in front of you and they did that in a professional manner. As a wannabe Dutch person I wish the team every success!
