Coffee company Douwe Egberts begins share trading

Coffee and tea company Douwe Egberts 1753 began offering its shares on the Amsterdam stock exchange on Tuesday morning on an ‘as-and-when issued’ basis.


Investors were able to place orders for shares which will be issued at the IPO on July 9. Shares were trading at €8 at lunchtime.
Douwe Egberts 1753 trades under the name DE Master Blenders since the firm was bought by Sara Lee in 1984.
