One in five mobile phones lost or stolen last year

Mobile phone firm Vodafone dealt with 55,000 reports of lost or stolen mobile phones in the Netherlands last year, RTL news reports on Tuesday.

One in three people in their teens and twenties lost their phone either through carelessness or theft, compared with one in five of the population as a whole.
Meanwhile, research by the national academy for media and society shows 60% of teenagers say they become stressed if they cannot check messages on their mobile phones immediately.
Some 86% of teenage smart phone users always have their phone with them. Facebook, Youtube, WhatsApp and Ping are their favourite applications.
