Arnhem kangaroo is captured

A kangeroo which has been spotted in woods near Arnhem for the past two weeks was captured on Thursday, news agency ANP said.

The animal will be kept in a children's petting farm in the city until a suitable new home can be found for it. ANP said.

According to DutchNews.nl readers, the kangaroo is probably a wallaby.

Arnhem kangaroo is captured. If your people in Arnhem used a woolen blanket to capture the kangaroo then they had a “Wooly jumper”, this also being biologically the cross between a sheep and a kangaroo.
