One in three homes on Open House Day had no visitors

One in three of the 56,000 houses which were opened to potential buyers on Saturday had no viewers at all, the Telegraaf reported at the weekend.

In total, potential buyers made over 100,000 visits on Open House Day, the national estate agents’ organisation NVM said.
That was up slightly on the previous Open House Day in October 2011.
The NVM says 17% of the houses which opened their doors to buyers last time round have since been sold, compared with 10% of houses which did not take part.
